RESOLUTION NO. 9322
BEING A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
AUTHORIZING THE CITY COUNCIL TO APPROVE THE
SCREENING OF EXCESS GOVERNMENTAL PROPERTY
FOR USE BY THE POLICE DEPARTMENT
WHEREAS, the State of California Office of Criminal Justice Planning
(OCJP) has offered local law enforcement the opportunity to obtain excess
governmental property to be used by local law enforcement for enforcing drug
trafficking and gang violence; and
WHEREAS, the Campbell Police Department is interested in locating
property that may be used for drug and gang suppression in the community;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the
City of Campbell, California, authorizes the approval and screening of excess
governmental property for Police Department use.
