A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE SMART CORRIDOR
COOPERATION AGREEMENT
WHEREAS, the City Council has previously signed a Memorandum of Understanding
for the SMART Corridor Project together with seven other agencies that recognizes the mutual
benefits of participation in the project and the intent for all agencies to participate in the project
design and later implementation;
WHEREAS, the City of Campbell has participated fully in the feasibility study and
design stages of the project;
WHEREAS, Santa Clara County Department of Roads and Airports has awarded
construction projects that include work within the City of Campbell boundaries;
and WHEREAS, the project requires participation of the City of Campbell during the
construction phase for the project to be able to achieve its overall objectives,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of
Campbell hereby authorizes the City Manager to execute the attached Cooperation Agreement
for the SMART Corridor Project.
