RESOLUTION NO. 9294
BEING A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL AUTHORIZING
AN AMORTIZED CDBG REHABILITAION LOAN TO COVER
A STATE HOUSING HEALTH AND SAFETY CODE VIOLATION
WHEREAS, the City of Campbell has a Community Development Block Grant
Program to assist very low and low income individuals and families with health and safety
repairs; and
WHEREAS, the City of Campbell has a maximum loan limit of$15,000 and
maximum grants of $2,500; and
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Cooper, rehabilitation loan clients, obtained the
maximum loan and grant allowed; and
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Cooper have limited financial means and a need to
repair a recently identified health and safety violation; and
WHEREAS, the City has sufficient CDBG funds and 20% Redevelopment
Housing funds to assist eligible residents in need of addressing health and safety codes.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council does hereby
approve a $1,489.50 three percent, amortized, five year loan for Mr. and Mrs. Cooper to
repair their electrical problem.
