A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
REAFFIRMING THE ESTABLISHED DISADVANTAGED BUSINESS
ENTERPRISE (DBE) GOAL FOR FEDERALLY FUNDED PROJECTS
WHEREAS, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 7727 on May 2, 1989,
establishing a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE Program; and
WHEREAS, the minimum goal is 10% of the total contract cost for all Federally
funded projects; and
WHEREAS, the City will advertise this goal and allow public inspection of the goal
and how it was obtained for a period of 30 days; and
WHEREAS, the City and the United States Department of Transportation will accept
public comments for a period of 45 days to be used as information only;
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Campbell does
hereby establish a goal of 10% DBE participation for Federally funded projects for the period
October 1, 1997 through September 30, 1998.
