CIP #97-11: HVAC to Bldg. "An
Improvements Other Than Buildings
$ 9,000.00
Reason for Request:
Sufficient funds are not available to complete this project due to unanticipated expenses and
modifications required during the first phase of installation. The interior plumbing was not found
exactly as the plans showed and the fire sprinklers had to be re-routed; HVAC ductwork had to be
modified to accommodate the new elevator; size of timbers had to be increased in one area; window
tinting was required above the new ceiling to hide ductwork; and miscellaneous associated electrical
modifications were necessary to complete the HVAC installation downstairs. An additional $9,000 is
required to complete Phase II of this project (upstairs ductwork, suspended ceiling, and new lighting).
