RESOLUTION NO. 9262
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
ACCEPTING THE IMPROVEMENTS CONSTRUCTED BY J. J. R. CONSTRUCTION,
INC. FOR PROJECT 97-72, SIDEWALK MAINTENANCE AND
PROJECT 96- 09, ACCESSIBITY RAMPS AND DIRECTING
THE FILING OF THE NOTICE OF COMPLETION
WHEREAS, the City Council adopted Resolution 9203 on March 18, 1997,
authorizing the Public Works Director to execute a contract for construction of improvements
known as Project 97-72, Sidewalk Maintenance and Project 96-09, Accessibility Ramps, and
WHEREAS, the City Council adopted Resolution 9234 on June 17, 1997, approving
an increase in the project contingency to $41, 957.18 and authorizing the Public Works
Director to execute a contract change order for additional sidewalks and curb repairs on EI
Solyo Avenue, and
WHEREAS, the contract was executed by the Public Works Director and J. J. R.
Construction, Inc. on April 7, 1997, and
WHEREAS, J. J. R. Construction has completed the aforementioned contract III
accordance with the contract documents;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Campbell hereby accepts the improvements constructed on Project 97-72. Sidewalk
Maintenance and Project 96-09, Accessibility Ramps and directs staff to file the Notice of
Completion.
