A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND AUTHORIZING
CALL FOR BIDS FOR THE HAMIL TON/EDEN AVENUE
TRAFFIC SIGNAL PROJECT 96-22
WHEREAS, the adopted 1996-1997 Capital Improvement Program includes funds for
Project 96-22 - Hamilton/Eden Traffic Signal Project; and,
WHEREAS, the most economical and efficient means to construct the landscaping in
the medians along this section of Hamilton Avenue would be to include this landscaping in the
traffic signal contract; and,
WHEREAS, plans and specifications for the construction of the desired improvements
have been prepared;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Campbell
that the plans and specifications for the construction of the Hamilton/Eden Traffic Signal
Project 96-22 are hereby approved and the Public Works Department is authorized to solicit
bids for the construction of the project improvements.
