A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT
FOR THE PROVISION OF JANITORIAL SERVICES
AT THE AINSLEY HOUSE AND CAMPBELL HISTORICAL
MUSEUM/MORGAN GALLERY
FOR A PERIOD OF THREE YEARS.
WHEREAS, the City Council has previously approved $7,020 in the Campbell
Historical Museum Division operating budget for the provision of janitorial
services at the Ainsley House and Campbell Historical Museum/Morgan Gallery
(528.7428); and
WHEREAS, a the formal bidding process was followed and a contract awarded
to Associated Building Services, Inc.; and
WHEREAS, the initial contract was for a three year period of which two years
remain in effect; and
WHEREAS, the service received for the contract duration was satisfactory; and
WHEREAS, adequate funds were budgeted and are available in account
number 101.538.7428 of the approved budget for Museum Services;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council does hereby
authorize an agreement with Associated Building Services, Inc. for the provision
of janitorial services at the Ainsley House and Campbell Historical
Museum/Morgan Gallery for three years effective July 1, 1997 in the amount of
$7,020 per year as per the terms of the agreement.
