RESOLUTION NO. 9233
BEING A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE AN
EXTENSION TO THE AGREEMENT WITH THE SANTA CLARA
COUNTY OPEN SPACE AUTHORITY FOR A LOAN FOR START UP
OPERATING EXPENSES
WHEREAS, the City of Campbell joined the Santa Clara County Open Space
Authority in January of 1993; and
WHEREAS, the City Council approved a loan and executed an agreement with
the Santa Clara County Open Space Authority for a loan of $3,500 for start up
operating expenses; and
WHEREAS, The Santa Clara County Open Space Authority requests a two year
extension of that loan until litigation regarding the Authority's funding mechanism
is resolved;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Manager is authorized to
execute a first amendment to the loan agreement between the Santa Clara
County Open Space Authority and the City of Campbell extending the initial
repayment date to June 30, 1999 with all other terms and conditions remaining in
full force and effect.
