A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT
FOR THE APPLICATION OF A PROTECTIVE COATING
ON THE WATER TOWER AT HYDE PARK
WHEREAS, the City Council has previously approved $100,000 in the Capital
Improvement Project operating budget for the application of a protective coating on the water
tower at Hyde Park; and
WHEREAS, a Call for Bids has been issued, and bids have been received; and
WHEREAS, the low bid for the specified services was $68,500; and
WHEREAS, adequate funds were budgeted and are available in account number
435.950.9716 of the approved budget for Capital Projects;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council does hereby authorize
an agreement with R. G. Painting for the provision of application of a protective coating on the
water tower at Hyde Park in the amount of $68,500 per the terms of the agreement and
specifications.
