A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
AUTHORIZING THE ANNUAL RENEWAL OF PROPETY
INSURANCE COVERAGE
WHEREAS, the City's Insurance Broker, Hamilton/Meridian Insurance Association, has
solicited and received quotations for Property Insurance Coverage effective April 15, 1997 to
April 15, 1998; and;
WHEREAS, the City of Campbell wishes to renew its agreement with Hamilton/Meridian
Insurance Association to secure insurance coverage through CHUBB Insurance Group, and;
WHEREAS, the City understands that a pro-rata cancellation clause exists should the City
opt to change coverage at some point during the coverage period; and
WHEREAS, CHUBB Insurance Group will hold the current rates for a period of three
coverage periods which will end in fiscal 99/00;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the proposal for insurance with
Hamilton/Meridian Insurance be approved for the coverage period April 15, 1997 to April 15,
1998 and if the City desires extend this agreement at the current rate through Fiscal Year
2000/2001.
