RESOLUTION NO. 9196
BEING A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL AUTHORIZING
A ONE-YEAR EXTENSION OF CONTRACT
WITH V ALLEY OIL COMPANY FOR FUEL PURCHASING
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Campbell, on January 2, 1996, awarded a
contract to Valley Oil Company for annual fuel purchasing; and
WHEREAS, the first fuel delivery following the City's Notice to Proceed was March 15,
1996; and
WHEREAS, the contract allows for one additional one-year extension based upon mutual
agreement between the City and the supplier;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Campbell
that the contract for annual fuel purchasing be extended from March 16, 1997, to March 15,
1998, at the mutually agreed to price of $0.0349 mark-up per gallon above the average daily
price charged by all providers of fuel at San Jose terminals as set forth at the time the fuel is
delivered in the Oil Price Service (OPIS) Pad 4/5 Report.
