RESOLUTION NO. 9172
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
ACCEPTING THE IMPROVEMENTS CONSTRUCTED BY
GRANITE CONSTRUCTION FOR PROJECT 96-71 -
ANNUAL STREET MAINTENANCE PROJECT-
CAMPBELL AVENUE RESURFACING
AND BUDGET ADJUSTMENT
WHEREAS, the City Council adopted Resolution 8992 on June 18, 1996, awarding a
contract to Granite Construction Company for construction of the improvements known as
Project 96-71 - Annual Street Maintenance Project - Hamilton Avenue Resurfacing; and
WHEREAS, Granite Construction Company has completed the aforementioned contract
in accordance with the contract documents; and
WHEREAS, $80,390 remains on Purchase Order #96-1684 to Granite Construction
Company; and
WHEREAS, the attached budget adjustment has been prepared to return the $80,390 to
Program 730 Operating Budget for use in the Sidewalk Repair Project,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Campbell
hereby accepts the improvements constructed under the Annual Street Maintenance Project -
Hamilton Avenue Resurfacing - Project 96-71 and directs staff to file a Notice of Completion
and approves the attached budget adjustment.
