RESOLUTION NO. 9142
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT
AND THE TRANSFER OF CONTINGENCY
RESERVE FUNDS FOR THE ANIMAL SERVICES CONTRACT
WITH THE HUMANE SOCIETY OF SANTA CLARA VALLEY
WHEREAS, the City of Campbell has previously adopted a 1996-97 fiscal
year budget; and
WHEREAS, the West Valley Cities negotiated an agreement with the
Humane Society of Santa Clara Valley for sheltering, licensing, and field
services; and
WHEREAS, additional funds are needed to provide for the Animal
Services Contract with the Humane Society of Santa Clara Valley; and
WHEREAS, funds are available in the City's Designated Funds for
Operations,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council
authorizes the City Manager to execute the agreement for sheltering, licensing,
and field services on behalf of the City of Campbell as a member of the West
Valley Cities, and authorizes the transfer of $12,000 from the City's Designated
Funds for Operations (account 101.3640) to Professional Services (account
101.605.7430).
