RESOLUTION NO.

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL AUTHORIZING A CONTRACT
WITH THE CAMPBELL UNION SCHOOL DISTRICT
FOR A CHILD AND PARENT ENGLISH LITERACY PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the Campbell Union School District has received Title VII Family English Literacy
Project grant funds; and
WHEREAS, The District does not have sufficient staff resources to conduct the preschool and
tutoring components of the project; and
WHEREAS, The City's Recreation and Community Services Department has sufficient
resources to provide the necessary staffing for this program.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Campbell that
a contract be executed with the Campbell Union School District that provides for City staffing
of this program to be reimbursed fully by the School District.
