CC Resolution 9002 RESOLUTION NO. 9002 BEING A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL ESTABLISHING THE ApPROPRIATIONS LIMIT FOR FISCAL YEAR 1996-1997 PURSUANT To ARTICLE XIIIB OF THE CALIFORNIA STATE CONSTITUTION As IMPLEMENTED BY CHAPTER 1025, 1980 STATUTES REVENUE AND TAXATION CODE SECTION 7910 WHEREAS, Proposition 4 was adopted by the voters of the State of California on November 6, 1979, adding Article XIII B of the California State Constitution; and WHEREAS, Proposition 111 was adopted by the voters of the State of California on June 5, 1990, amending Article XIII B of the California State Constitution; and WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 8 of Article XIII B of the California State Constitution, the City Council determines that the change in the cost of living shall be measured by the percentage change in California per capita personal income from the preceding year and the change in population shall be measured by the change in Santa Clara County population growth; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Campbell wishes to establish this appropriation limit for the Fiscal Year 1996-1997 pursuant to Article XIII B of the California State Constitution; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Campbell hereby finds and determines that the appropriations subject to limitations for fiscal year 1996-1997 amounts to $10,896,594.
