RESOLUTION NO. 8997
BEING A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CAMPBELL AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE AN
AMENDED AGREEMENT REGARDING PARAMEDIC AMBULANCE SERVICES
WHEREAS, the City of Campbell entered into an agreement on December 22, 1980 with the
County of Santa Clara acknowledging City's provision of emergency paramedic service within
the city limits of Campbell; and
WHEREAS, the City of Campbell and County of Santa Clara entered into an agreement on June
8, 1993 entitled "Acceptance of Notice of Agreement of Termination of Paramedic Service" by
the City of Campbell; and
WHEREAS, the City of Campbell has negotiated an Amended Agreement extending the deadline
for electing whether or not the City of Campbell desires to resume its own paramedic service
for one year, until June 30, 1997.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Campbell
authorizes the City Manager to execute an Amended Agreement regarding Paramedic Ambulance
Services.
