RESOLUTION NO. 8986
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
AUTHORIZING THE PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR TO ENTER INTO
A CONSULTANT SERVICES AGREEMENT FOR
CONSTRUCTION INSPECTION SERVICES
WHEREAS, a number of significant projects have been awarded and are currently under
construction or planned for construction within the next few months; and
WHEREAS, significant development activity is currently under construction in various
areas of the City; and
WHEREAS, due to the number of projects and developments currently under construction
or planned for construction will require additional inspectors to ensure quality projects; and
WHEREAS, funds were appropriated in the Fiscal Year 1995-96 budget for a full time
temporary Project Inspector which was not filled due to other vacancies in many design positions
and the lack of projects being put out for bid and construction; and
WHEREAS, APC International has highly qualified staff available to provide the
inspection services required.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Campbell
hereby authorizes the Public Works Director to enter into a Consultant Services Agreement with
APC International for construction inspection services in an amount not to exceed $35,000.
