RESOLUTION NO. 8979
BEING A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CAMPBELL ADOPTING A MITIGATED NEGATNE DECLARATION AND
ADOPTING A MmGATION MONITORING PROGRAM FOR THE
PROPOSED REPLACEMENT AND REPAIR PROJECT FOR THE LOS GATOS
CREEK TRAIL PEDESTRIAN BRIDGE.
After public notification, as specified by State Law, the City Council did find,
with regard to the Los Gatos Creek Trail Pedestrian Bridge as follows:
1. The proposed Los Gatos Creek Trail Pedestrian Bridge is consistent
with the Open Space and Circulation Elements of the City's General
Plan.
2. The proposed Mitigation Monitoring Program has incorporated such
measures as necessary to mitigate or avoid the potential for significant
environmental impacts as identified in the initial environmental
study completed for the project. Further, the Mitigation Monitoring
Program is included as a condition of project implementation.
3. The pedestrian bridge replacement project for the Los Gatos Creek Trail
will not be detrimental to the health, safety, peace, morals, comfort or
general welfare of the persons utilizing the Los Gatos Creek Trail, or be
detrimental or injurious to property and improvements in the
neighborhood or to the general welfare of the City.
