A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND AUTHORIZING CALL FOR BIDS
FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE CAMPBELL INN BRIDGE (PROJECT 01-07),
CAMPBELL PARK BRIDGE (PROJECT 93-51), AND MOZART BRIDGE (PROJECT 95-
10), AND AUTHORIZING THE PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR TO EXECUTE AN
AGREEMENT WITH THE COUNTY OF SANTA CLARA FOR MAINTENANCE OF
THE MOZART BRIDGE
WHEREAS, the City Council's adopted 1992-93 budget included funds for the Campbell
Park Bridge (93-51); and
WHEREAS, the City Council's adopted 1994-95 budget included funds for the Mozart
Bridge (95-10); and
WHEREAS, the City Council authorized application to the Federal Emergency
Management Agency and the Governor's Office of Emergency Services for repair of the storm-
damaged portions of the Los Gatos Creek Trail Bridge north of Campbell Avenue (Campbell Inn
Bridge - 01-07); and
WHEREAS, plans and specifications for these projects have been prepared; and
WHEREAS, the existing project budgets are sufficient to cover the estimated cost of
constructing the three bridge projects; and
WHEREAS, the County of Santa Clara is the appropriate agency to maintain the Mozart
Bridge as it is located in Los Gatos Creek County Park.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Campbell
hereby approves the plans and specifications for the Campbell Inn Bridge (01-07), Campbell
Park Bridge (93-51), and Mozart Bridge (95-1O) and authorizes the Public Works Director to
issue such plans and specifications for public bid.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Campbell hereby
authorizes the Public Works Director to execute an agreement with the County of Santa Clara
for maintenance of the Mozart Bridge.
