A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
APPROVING A BUDGET ADJUSTMENT FOR TRAFFIC SPOT IMPROVEMENT
PROJECT 96-22
WHEREAS, the City of Campbell has been awarded $126,900 in Hazard Elimination
Safety, Federal grant funds, which will fund 90% of the costs for design, construction, and
contract administration of signal installation and appropriate median islands on Hamilton Avenue
at Eden A venue; and
WHEREAS, the Traffic Spot Improvement Project also includes funding for the required
10% City match of $14,100 towards project costs; and
WHEREAS, the local project costs are proposed to come from unappropriated gas tax
funds;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Campbell
that the attached budget adjustment in the amount of $141,000 is hereby approved.
