A RESOLUTION OF INTENT WITH REGARD TO PUBLIC AGENCY FUNDS
AND THE HAZARD ELIMINATION SAFETY PROGRAM FOR THE
INSTALLATION OF A TRAFFIC SIGNAL AT THE INTERSECTION OF
HAMIL TON AVENUE AND EDEN AVENUE
WHEREAS, the City of Campbell has applied for and been recommended to receive
$126,900 in Hazard Elimination Safety (HES) funding, for the construction of a new traffic signal
and appropriate medians at the intersection of Hamilton and Eden Avenues; and
WHEREAS, the program requires that certain funding requirements, as follows, be met
in carrying out this project:
1. The project will built as described above;
2. The lesser amount of $14,100 and 10 percent of total project cost will be
provided by the City of Campbell; and
3. The City of Campbell understands that the HES funding is fixed at
$126,900; and, therefore, any cost increases cannot be expected to be
funded with HES funds.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Campbell
by adopting this Resolution of Intent does hereby state that:
1. The project will built as described above;

3. The City of Campbell understands that the HES funding is fixed at
$126,900; and, therefore, any cost increases cannot be expected to be
