RESOLUTION NO. 8949
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CAMPBELL COMMENDING TONI FERREIRA
FOR EIGHT YEARS OF SERVICE TO THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
WHEREAS, Toni Ferreira was appointed a Police Officer in the Campbell
Police Department on October 5, 1987; and
WHEREAS, Toni Ferreira was promoted to the position of Police Agent
on March 2, 1992; and
WHEREAS, Toni Ferreira has distinguished herself and her department
by earning fourteen medals in Police Olympics swimming competitions; and
WHEREAS, Toni Ferreira has served the City of Campbell faithfully
during her assignments in the Field Services Division, Special Enforcement
Division, and Santa Clara County Allied Agencies Narcotics Enforcement Team;
and
WHEREAS, Toni Ferreira's positive attitude, pleasant personality, and
hard work have contributed to her excellent performance as a peace officer.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the
City of Campbell hereby expresses its appreciation to Toni Ferreira for eight
years of valuable service to the City and wishes her good health and happiness
in her retirement.
