RESOLUTION NO. 8942
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A CONSULTANT SERVICES
AGREEMENT WITH PARSONS, BRINCKERHOFF, QUADE AND DOUGLAS, INC.
FOR FINAL DESIGN SERVICES FOR THE COMBINED
HAMILTON/HIGHWAY 17 AREA PROJECTS
WHEREAS, through a competitive process, Parsons, Brinckheroff, Quade and Douglas (PB)
was determined to be the best qualified consulting firm for this project; and
WHEREAS, on October 3, 1995, the City Council authorized staff to negotiate a consultant
services agreement for conceptual project planning, preliminary engineering, and final design
services for the combined Highway 17 Loop/Hamilton Avenue Resurfacing project; and
WHEREAS, PB has successfully completed the majority of their Scope of Work related to
preliminary engineering; and
WHEREAS, there are sufficient funds in the Capital Improvement Project budget (95-13)
to cover the costs of the final design portion of the agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Campbell that
the Public Works Director is hereby authorized to execute a Consultant Services Agreement with
Parsons, Brinckerhoff, Quade and Douglas, Inc. for Final Design of the combined
Hamilton/Highway 17 area projects.
