RESOLUTION NO. 8930
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR CONSTRUCTION OF JACK FISCHER PARK
AND APPROVING A BUDGET ADJUSTMENT
WHEREAS, bids were received for construction of the San Tomas Area Neighborhood
Park (now named Jack Fischer Park) on January 18, 1996; and
WHEREAS, Valley Crest Landscaping has been found to be the lowest responsive,
responsible bidder; and
WHEREAS, funds for construction administration and contingencies must be added to
the amount bid for project construction.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Campbell
that the contract for construction of Jack Fischer Park be awarded to Valley Crest Landscaping
in the amount of $356,733.08, and that the Public Works Director is hereby authorized to
execute a contract with Valley Crest Landscaping.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Campbell that a
budget adjustment in the amount of $293,200 is hereby approved.
