RESOLUTION NO. 8924
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
COMMENDING MARGARET (MARGE) WAGNER FOR FIVE YEARS OF
SERVICE TO THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
WHEREAS, Marge Wagner was appointed as a Senior Clerk Typist in the Public Works
Department on January 7, 1991; and
WHEREAS, Marge Wagner, through the years, has provided clerical support to the
Public Works Director, Deputy Public Works Director, Administrative Aide, and various other
engineering and maintenance staff; and
WHEREAS, Marge Wagner willingly and graciously performed the duties of the
Principal Clerk at the Service Center for an extended period of time while a recruitment was in
progress; and
WHEREAS, Marge Wagner has been instrumental in maintaining an Encroachment
Permit database and tracking system encompassing in excess of 250 permits annually, entering
data completely and accurately; and
WHEREAS, Marge Wagner's caring attitude, pleasant personality and strong business
ethics contributed to her excellent performance as a Senior Clerk Typist.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Campbell
hereby expresses its appreciation to Marge Wagner for five years of valuable service to the City
and wishes her good health and happiness in her retirement.
