RESOLUTION NO. 8916
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
APPROVING A COST SHARING AGREEMENT WITH PRUNEYARD ASSOCIATES,
L.P. FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF TRAFFIC SIGNAL AND INTERSECTION
MODIFICATIONS - CAMPBELL AVENUE AT UNION AVENUE AND BASCOM
A VENUE AT THE PRUNEY ARD NORTHERN DRIVEWAY
WHEREAS, on February 7, 1995 the City Council of the City of Campbell approved S 94-08
/UP 94-19 for site and use modifications to the Pruneyard; and
WHEREAS, conditions placed on this approval require the applicant to design and construct street
improvements along the Campbell Avenue and Bascom Avenue frontages of the Pruneyard, contribute
$25,000 toward construction of signal and intersection modifications at the Campbell Avenue/Union
A venue intersection, and design signal modifications and intersection improvements at the Bascom
Avenue/Northern Pruneyard driveway; and
WHEREAS, the most economical and efficient means to construct the signal modifications and
intersection improvements is to combine these improvements with the street improvements required by
the City for S 94-08/UP 94-19; and
WHEREAS, a cost sharing agreement and budget adjustment have been prepared for design and
construction of these improvements;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Campbell,
California, as follows:
The City hereby approves the Cost Sharing Agreement with Pruneyard Associates, L. P ., and
budget adjustment in the amount of $105,000 for design and construction of traffic signal and
intersection modifications - Campbell Avenue at Union Avenue and Bascom Avenue at the Pruneyard
Northern driveway.
