RESOLUTION NO. 8890
BEING A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CAMPBELL APPROVING SPECIFICATIONS,
CALLING FOR BIDS, AND AUTHORIZING PURCHASE
OF A LARGE RIDE-ON MOWER
WHEREAS, the existing large ride-on mower has reached the end of its useful life; and,
WHEREAS, the adopted Fiscal Year 1995-96 operating budget has appropriated funds
for this purpose; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council has been presented with specifications for a large ride-on
mower.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Campbell
that the specifications for the large ride-on mower be, and they are hereby, adopted and
approved, and that the City Manager or his designee is authorized and directed to give notice
inviting sealed proposals for purchase of a large ride-on mower; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Campbell that the City
Manager or his designee is hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract for said
purchase to the lowest responsible bidder in an amount not to exceed $75,000 on behalf of the
City of Campbell.
