RESOLUTION NO. 8887
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT
FOR THE PROVISION OF JANITORIAL SERVICES
AT THE CAMPBELL COMMUNITY CENTER
FOR A PERIOD OF FOUR YEARS
WHEREAS, the City Council has previously approved $85,000 in the Building
Maintenance Division operating budget for the provision of janitorial services at the Campbell
Community Center (530.7432); and
WHEREAS, a Call for Bids has been issued, and bids have been received; and
WHEREAS, the low bid for the specified services was $82,800; and
WHEREAS, adequate funds were budgeted and are available in account number
101.530.7432 of the approved budget for Building Maintenance;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council does hereby authorize
an agreement with Acme Building Maintenance Company, Inc. for the provision of janitorial
services at the Campbell Community Center for four years effective November 1, 1995 in the
amount of $82,800 for the first year of service, $85,290 for the second year of service, $87,832
for the third year of service, and $90,402 for the fourth year of service to be provided as per
the terms of the agreement and janitorial specifications.
