RESOLUTION NO. 8868
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF CDBG FUNDS
TO THE CITY HALL ACCESSIBILITY MODIFICATIONS PROJECT (CIP#94-21)
WHEREAS, the City Council has previously approved $291,684 in CIPR funds and
$174,037 in CDBG funds for the City Hall Accessibility Modifications project (CIP #94-21);
and
WHEREAS, additional funds are needed to proceed with the project; and
WHEREAS, the City Hall Accessibility Project meets funding eligibility under CDBG
regulations.
WHEREAS, additional CDBG funds are available in the following completed and
discontinued projects, programs, and accounts:
$ 21,575 from the Dumpster Enclosure Project (208.553.4520)
$ 1,223 from the Targeted Neighborhood Code Enforcement Program
(208.553.4520);
$ 677 from CDBG Housing Program General Administration
(208.553.4520)
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council does hereby authorize
the transfer of the above-specified $23,475 in CDBG funds to the City Hall Accessibility
Modifications project (435.94-21.7883) for construction of said modifications.

Reason for Request (Be Spec~f~c):
1. The CDBG Dumpster Enclosure Project was discontinued due to lack of feasible
locations for the dumpsters. The fund balance is available for re-distribution
to other eligible CDBG programs/projects.
2. The Targeted Neighborhood Code Enforcement Project (Contract *95-54) is complete
and has an unspent fund balance ($1,223) which is available for re-distribution
to another CDBG-eligible program/project.
3. There is a fund balance of $677 (staff salary savings) in CDBG General Administration
for County Contract *95-91 which is available for re-distribution to the CDBG-
eligible City Hall Accessibility Modifications project.
