RESOLUTION NO. 8829
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS, AUTHORIZING THE
SOLICITATION OF BIDS FOR PROJECT 95-71 CAMPBELL AVENUE
RESURFACING, AND DESIGNATION OF CONSTRUCTION TAX
WHEREAS, the City Council adopted Fiscal Year (FY) 1994/95 budget included funds
for street maintenance; and
WHEREAS, the City Council conceptually approved Campbell A venue Resurfacing as
the street maintenance project for FY 1994/95; and
WHEREAS, plans and specifications for the construction of the desired improvements
have been prepared; and
WHEREAS, the construction contract to complete the Campbell A venue Resurfacing will
not be awarded until FY 1995/96; and
WHEREAS, additional funds are needed to complete the resurfacing of Campbell A venue
from Winchester Boulevard to Fulton Avenue; and
WHEREAS, additional funds are available in the FY 95/96 proposed budget for street
maintenance.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Campbell
hereby approves the plans and specifications for construction of Project 95-71 Campbell A venue
Resurfacing, that the Public Works Department is authorized to solicit bids for construction of
these improvements; and that a designation of Construction Tax in the amount of $305,000 to
allow for reappropriation in FY 1995/96.
