RESOLUTION NO. 8824
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND AUTHORIZING
THE SOLICITATION OF BIDS FOR PROJECT 93-76
TRAFFIC SAFETY IMPROVEMENTS
WHEREAS, the City Council adopted Fiscal Year 1993-94 budget included funds for
minor traffic safety improvements; and
WHEREAS, the City Council conceptually approved the design of median islands at
the HamiltonJMarathon and Hamilton/Millich intersections; and
WHEREAS, the removal of traffic signal poles at the CamdenJWinchester intersection
can be done most efficiently and economically if included in this project; and
WHEREAS, plans and specifications for the construction of the desired improvements
have been prepared;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Campbell that the plans and specifications for the construction of Traffic Safety
Improvements Project 93-76 are hereby approved, and the Public Works Department is
authorized to solicit bids for construction of these improvements.
