RESOLUTION NO. 8787
BEING A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL, CALIFORNIA AUTHORIZING THE
SUBMITTAL OF PROPOSALS FOR NON-COMPETITIVE FUNDS FROM
SANTA CLARA COUNTY UNDER THE FEDERAL HOUSING AND COMMUNITY
DEVELOPMENT ACT FOR FISCAL YEAR 1995-96
WHEREAS, the City previously entered into a Joint Powers Agreement with Santa
Clara County to form an Urban County under the Housing and Community Development
Act; and
WHEREAS, the City Council and Civic Improvement Commission held public
hearings on expenditures of monies under the Community Development Act; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine that the attached proposals
represents the community development need in Campbell.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that staff is hereby authorized to submit a
proposal for the expenditure of 95-96 CDBG funds in the amount of $190,000 for the
following projects:
Shared Housing Project of Catholic Charities
Project Match
Emergency Housing Consortium
Timpany Center
Public Service Subtotal
ESO Handworker/Home Access Program
CDBG Administration
Housing Rehabilitation Support Service
Targeted Neighborhood Code Enforcement
City Handicap Access Projects
Other CDBG Project Subtotal

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that staff is hereby also authorized in the event that
the CDBG 95-96 grant is more than or less than $190,000 by $10,000, the funds will be
adjusted in the City Handicap Access Projects.

Campbell this 7th day of March 1995, by the following vote:
