A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
COMMENDING CHARLENE M. CASE FOR THIRTY-FIVE YEARS OF SERVICE
WHEREAS, Charlene M. Case has been employed by the City of Campbell since
March 7, 1960, and is currently serving as an Administrative Aide; and
WHEREAS, Charlene M. Case is the first person to reach the thirty-five
year employee milestone in the City of Campbell; and
WHEREAS, Charlene M. Case was nominated as a "Woman of Achievement" for
Santa Clara County in 1975; and
WHEREAS, Charlene M. Case personally developed, implemented, and success-
fully managed the City's service request system which has proven to be an
important resource for initiating services, providing customer responses and
giving department managers valuable management information; and
WHEREAS,
in State
projects
and
Charlene M. Case helped acquire and administer millions of dollars
grants to develop parks and construct pedestrian and bicycle
including the highly successful Los Gatos Creek Streamside Park ;
WHEREAS, Charlene M. Case has represented the City with professionalism
in the National Arbor Day Foundation and the Maintenance Superintendents
Association; and
WHEREAS, the City Council, on behalf of the citizens of Campbell and the
employees of the City, wishes to express its appreciation to Charlene M. Case
for thirty-five years of loyal and valuable service and best wishes for
continued success and achievement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of
Campbell declares March 7, 1995, CHARLENE M. BARBANO CASE DAY in the City
of Campbell.
