RESOLUTION NO. 8780
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT WITH THE
CITY OF SAN JOSE FOR MAINTENANCE OF TRAFFIC SIGNALS
UNDER JOINT JURISDICTION
WHEREAS, there exist streets which lie partly within the jurisdiction of the City of
Campbell and the City of San Jose; and
WHEREAS, the City of Campbell and the City of San Jose wish to execute an agreement
assigning fair share costs and responsibilities to each city for the maintenance of traffic signals
at the intersections which lie partly within the jurisdiction of the City of Campbell and the City
of San Jose;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Campbell
hereby authorizes the Mayor to execute an agreement with the City of San Jose for maintenance
of traffic signals under joint jurisdiction.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Campbell hereby
approves a budget adjustment in the amount of $3,000 for the increased costs associated with
the assignment of fair share costs and responsibilities.
