RESOLUTION NO. 8772
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
SUPPORTING THE SILICON V ALLEY SMART CORRIDOR
WHEREAS, there exists traffic congestion problems along the Route 17/1-880 Corridor;
and
WHEREAS, the City of Campbell has participated in a coordinated effort with other
agencies in this corridor to resolve these congestion problems; and
WHEREAS, a Silicon Valley Smart Corridor Program has been identified to address the
congestion problems in the corridor; and
WHEREAS, participation by the City of Campbell in the Silicon Valley Smart Corridor
Program is essential;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of the
Campbell hereby supports the Silicon Valley Smart Corridor Program and will continue to
participate in this program to improve transportation for the regional community.
