RESOLUTION NO. R770
BEING A RESOLUTION BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CAMPBELL AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A
CONTRACT WITH THE CAMPBELL UNION SCHOOL DISTRICT
TO PROVIDE A PARENT AND CHILD PROGRAM TO PROMOTE ENGLISH
LANGUAGE AND CHILD DEVELOPMENT, ENRICHMENT AND TUTORING.
WHEREAS, the City of Campbell agrees to cooperatively provide a program to promote
English language development and child development with the Campbell Union School District;
and
WHEREAS, the District has obtained a Title VII Family English Literacy Project grant to fund
this program; and
WHEREAS, the revenues received from this program will equal the operating expenses
incurred;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Manager is authorized to execute a
contract for staffing and supplies for the Family English Literacy Project at Hazelwood School.
