RESOLUTION NO. 8745
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
APPROVING SPECIFICATIONS, CALLING FOR BIDS, AND AUTHORIZING
PURCHASE OF REPLACEMENT STREET LIGHT POLES
WHEREAS, the City of Campbell's painted street light poles need to be replaced with
galvanized poles; and
WHEREAS, the adopted Fiscal Year 1994-95 budget has appropriated funds for this
purpose; and
WHEREAS, the City wishes to proceed with this project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Campbell
that the specifications for the street light poles be, and they are hereby, adopted and approved,
and that the City Manager or his designee is authorized and directed to give notice inviting
sealed proposals for purchase of 75 galvanized street light poles pursuant to Section 3.20.050
of the Campbell Municipal Code; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Campbell that the City
Manager or his designee is hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract for said
purchase to the lowest responsible bidder in an amount not to exceed $37,500 on behalf of the
City of Campbell.
