RESOLUTION NO. 8725
BEING A RESOLUTION TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CAMPBELL AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF RECREATION
& COMMUNITY SERVICES TO RENEW THE CONTRACT WITH
SANTA CLARA COUNTY FOR SENIOR NUTRITION SERVICES,
AND BUDGET ADJUSTMENT, FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1994-95
WHEREAS, the City of Campbell recognizes the need for nutrition services for Senior
Citizens in Campbell; and
WHEREAS, the City agrees to share in the cost of operating the nutrition program up to 50 %
of the total cost, less participant donations, City administrative costs, and transportation services;
WHEREAS, there is a need for funds not anticipated in the budget for transportation services,
and funds are available in fund 013.04.525 for this purpose;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Director of Recreation & Community
Services is authorized to renew the contract for Senior Nutrition Services with Santa Clara
County, and approve the related budget adjustment.

Reason for Request (Be Spec~f~c):
In negotions of new contract with County regarding the Senior Nutrition Program,
the City will be responsible to pay OJtreach for transportation services. The
City will in turn bill the County m::mthly for these costs. 1m. increase in revenue
fran the County will balance the increase in program budget.
