RESOLUTION 8724
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A ONE YEAR EXTENSION OF THE CITY'S
POLICE OFFICER/POLICE OFFICER TRAINEE ELIGffiILITY LIST
WHEREAS, the City's Personnel Division did conduct a recruitment for Police
Officer/Police Officer Trainee and did establish an eligibility list to be used for hiring for a two
year period commencing October 29, 1992; and
WHEREAS, said list still has the names of many well-qualified candidates on it who have
not yet been considered for employment with the City; and
WHEREAS, the City's Personnel Rules and Regulations do not allow for automatic
extension of such a list beyond two years;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council that said list shall be
extended until October 29, 1995.
