A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT WITH SANTA CLARA COUNTY
FOR THE 1994-95 COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM YEAR
WHEREAS, the County has agreed to the use by City, as subrecipient, of a portion of
County's CDBG Entitlement Program funds for a housing program to be operated within the
County and shall benefit very low and low income households; and
WHEREAS, the City has previously entered into a Joint Powers Agreement with Santa
Clara County under the Housing and Community Development Act; and
WHEREAS, the City Council on March 1, 1994 approved the expenditure of new CDBG
funds in the amount of $190,000 for the following activities:
Shared Housing Project of Catholic Charities
Project Match
Emergency Housing Consortium
Public Service Subtotal:
ESO Handiworker/Home Access Program
CDBG Administration
Housing Rehabilitation Support Service
Targeted Neighborhood Code Enforcement
City Hall Handicap Access Project
Total CDBG 94-95 Funded Projects:

WHEREAS, the City Council approves the expenditure of carryover CDBG funds in the
amount of $252,812.21 for previously approved CDBG activities.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Campbell
hereby authorizes the execution of said Agreement.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council hereby designates the Community
Development Director as the City Manager's assignee to assume the overall responsibility for
the progress and execution of this Agreement.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council approves the expenditure of $7,367
in Housing Rehabilitation Program Income for Rehabilitation Support Services.
