RESOLUTION NO. 8715
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A NOTICE OF RELEASE OF AN
IMPROVEMENT AGREEMENT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY
WHEREAS, the City of Campbell entered into an Agreement for dedication and
installation of street improvements within a 20 foot wide strip of land along the northerly
property line of the property located at the northwest comer of Hacienda A venue and San
Tomas Aquino Rd., recorded February 23, 1966, in the Official Records of the Santa Clara
County Recorder's Office in Book 7289, Page 495; and
WHEREAS, the City no longer anticipates the need for a public street at this location;
and
WHEREAS, the West Valley Sanitation District has requested that the City relinquish
the recorded offer of dedication in order to construct a sanitary sewer main;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Campbell hereby releases the conditions of said Agreement, authorizes the Mayor to execute
the Notice of Release on behalf of the City, and directs the City Clerk to record said
document with the County Recorder's Office.
