RESOLUTION NO. 8688
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT FOR THE
EXCHANGE OF lAND AT THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF
HAMILTON AND SALMAR AVENUES
WHEREAS, the City of Campbell desires to widen a portion of Salmar Avenue
adjacent to Hamilton Avenue requiring acquisition of right-of-way from abutting land
owners; and
WHEREAS, the abutting land owners desire to trade the required street right-of-way
area for surplus City land adjoining their parcel; and
WHEREAS, the City of Campbell owns a small amount of residual land adjacent to
the intersection that is not required for a public purpose;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Campbell hereby authorizes the Mayor execute an agreement for the exchange of land at
the southeast comer of Hamilton Avenue and Salmar Avenue.
