RESOLUTION NO. 8673
A RESOLUTION OF TIlE CITY COUNCIL OF TIlE CITY OF CAMPBELL
AUTHORIZING THE APPOINTMENT OF MEMBERS TO THE CITY'S
BICYCLE ADVISORY COMMITfEE
WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Transportation Commission has mandated the
establishment of a Bicycle Advisory Committee (BAC) within each jurisdiction in order to be
eligible to receive Transportation Development Act (IDA) funds; and
WHEREAS, the County of Santa Clara has recommended that Campbell receive
$44,000 of IDA funds for the Los Gatos Creek Trail Pedestrian Bridge to supplement the
$80,000 of IDA funds prevsiously allocated; and
WHEREAS, the City will remain eligible to receive the additional $44,000 if a BAC
is in place by June 30, 1994, with subsequent development of a bike plan.
NOW, TIlEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Campbell hereby authorizes the appointment of members to the City's Bicycle Advisory
Committee.
