RESOLUTION NO. 8646
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL AUTHORIZING THE
PUBliC WORKS DIRECTOR TO EXECUTE AN AMENDMENT TO THE
AGREEMENT WITH BARREIT CONSULTING GROUP FOR PREPARING lHE
STORM DRAIN MASTER PlAN (PROJECT 92-26)
& APPROVING A BUDGET ADmSTMENT
WHEREAS, the estimated number of storm drain facilities has more than doubled
from approximately 600 lines to 1,200 lines; and
WHEREAS, the effort to collect the missing data and analyze the data associated
with this increased number of facilities in the manner described in the original agreement
is no longer the most economical and effective means of providing the City with a useful
Master Storm Drain Plan; and
WHEREAS, Barrett Consulting Group has agreed to revise the scope of services and
analyze the total storm drain system based on a new set of criteria to provide the City with
a useful Storm Drain Master Plan; and
WHEREAS, an amendment to the agreement with Barrett Consulting Group has
been prepared to include these items of work and a budget adjustment has also been
prepared to transfer the funds necessary to complete the additional services.
NOW, lHEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Campbell hereby authorizes and directs the Public Works Director to execute an
Amendment to the Agreement for Professional Services for the City's Storm Drain Master
Plan with Barrett Consulting Group in the amount of $16,500; to revise the scope of services
as necessary to include the additional facilities and to complete the Storm Drain Master
Plan; and hereby approves the attached budget adjustment in the amount of $16,500.
