RESOLUTION NO. 8633
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
AUTHORIZING THE PUBLIC WORKS DIRECfOR TO EXECUTE AN
AGREEMENT WITH THE CITY OF SAN JOSE FOR SURVEYING
AND ENGINEERING SERVICES
WHEREAS, the Public Works Department is in need of surveying and engineering
services in conjunction with construction projects; and
WHEREAS, the City of Campbell does not have the capability in-house to perform these
services; and
WHEREAS, the City of San Jose Public Works Department has qualified surveyors and
engineers with the capability of performing necessary tasks; and
WHEREAS, the City of San Jose's rates are lower and responsiveness is comparable or
better than other private firms.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Campbell
hereby authorizes the Public Works Director to execute an agreement with the City of San Jose
for surveying and engineering services.
