RESOLUTION NO. 8627
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL AUTHORIZING
PAYMENT FOR A COUNTY LmRARY SERVICFB
PUBLIC OPINION POLL
WHEREAS, members of the Santa Clara County Library District have agreed to
conduct a survey of registered voters in the District to determine community support for
establishing a County Service Area and assessment for library services; and
WHEREAS, the consultant selected to conduct the survey is Godbe Communications;
and
WHEREAS, Godbe Communications will conduct a 900 sample poll which will
include a sub-sample of 100 people from each jurisdiction in the District; and
WHEREAS, the County of Santa Clara will administer the agreement with Godbe
Communications for $17,439.20, the total cost of the survey; and
WHEREAS, the City of Campbell's share of the cost, which is based on the library
funding formula, is $1,780.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Campbell does hereby authorize payment of Campbell's share of the cost for a County
Library Services Public Opinion Poll.
