BEING A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL, CALIFORNIA AUTHORIZING THE
SUBMITTAL OF PROPOSALS FOR NON-COMPETITIVE FUNDS FROM
SANTA CLARA COUNTY UNDER THE FEDERAL HOUSING AND COMMUNITY
DEVELOPMENT ACT FOR FISCAL YEAR 1994-95
WHEREAS, the City previously entered into a Joint Powers Agreement with Santa Clara
County to form an Urban County under the Housing and Community Development Act; and
WHEREAS, the City Council and Civic Improvement Commission held public hearings on
expenditures of monies under the Community Development Act; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine that the attached proposals represents
the community development needs in Campbell.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that staff is hereby authorized to submit a
proposal for the expenditure of 94-95 CDBG funds in the amount of $190,000 for the following
projects:
Shared Housing Project of Catholic Charities
Proj ect Match
Emergency Housing Consortium
Public Service Subtotal:
ESO Handworker/Home Access Program
CDBG Administration
Housing Rehabilitation Support Service
Targeted Neighborhood Code Enforcement
City Hall Handicap Access Project
Total CDBG 94-95 Funded Projects:

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that staff is hereby also authorized in the event that the
CDBG 94-95 grant is more than or less than $190,000 by $5,000, the funds will be adjusted in
the Housing Rehabilitation Loan Project.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of
Campbell this 1st day of March 1994, by the following vote:
