RESOLUTION No. 8597
BEING A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN ADJUSTMENT TO
THE CITY OF CAMPBELL'S OPERATING AND CAPITAL
BUDGET AND APPROPRIATING CDBG FUNDS TO THE
DUMPSTER ENCLOSURE PROJECT, TARGETED CODE
ENFORCEMENT AND CITY HANDICAP ACCESS PROJECT.
WHEREAS, the City Council on June 7, 1993, approved the expenditure of
CDBG funds for the Sharmon Palms Dumpster Enclosure Project, Targeted
Code Enforcement and City Handicap Access Project; and
WHEREAS, the costs per project had not previously been refined, bids were
solicited; and
WHEREAS, an adjustment to the operating and capital budget is necessary to
appropriate CDBG funds to those approved CDBG projects to cover the costs
of materials and staff time.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Campbell, California, does hereby authorized the City Finance Department to
amend the Capital and Operating budget to provide appropriation for the
Dumpster Enclosure project, Targeted Code Enforcement and City Handicap
Access project.

Reason for Request (Be Spec~f~c):
1. The City's Supplemental Budget did not appropriate funds for the three projects listed
above, numbers were being further refined.
2. CDBG funds were previously approved in June 1993; costs finalized November 1993.
3. Staff is requesting an amendment to operating & capital budget to provide ~ppropriation
for the three CDBG funded projects.
