RESOLUTION NO. 8596
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL AUTHORIZING STAFF TO DESIGN AND
CONSTRUCT THE STREET IMPROVEMENTS AT 839 VIRGINIA AVENUE
AND APPROVING A BUDGBT ADJUSTMBNT
WHEREAS, John Haggerty, the developer of 839 Virginia Avenue, has defaulted on
his Development Agreement with the City for the construction of the street improvements;
and
WHEREAS, a cash deposit in the amount of $12,000 was taken from the developer
of 839 Virginia Avenue, John Haggerty, for the construction of the street improvements; and
WHEREAS, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 8391 on October 20, 1992,
committing funds for the construction of street improvements at 845 Virginia Avenue,
Project 93-83; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to increase the scope of the project to include
the design and construction of street improvements at 839 Virginia Avenue; and
WHEREAS, a budget adjustment has also been prepared to increase the project
budget to include the design and construction of these additional items of work.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Campbell that the attached budget adjustment is approved and that staff is authorized to
manage the design and construction of street improvements at 839 Virginia Avenue, utilizing
the $12,000 cash deposit.
